Perineoplasty – Enlarged Vaginal Opening

Perineoplasty is a procedure to fix both a small vaginal opening and a large vaginal opening.

Women may experience an enlarged vaginal opening, especially after childbirth. Others experience a vaginal opening that is too small, causing pain during intercourse. A perineoplasty can fix either problem. During this procedure, the perineum, the structure between the vagina and the anus, is reconstructed and formed to either widen or narrow the vaginal opening.
